Kaupapa Update

The Iwi Leaders Group on the Foreshore and Seabed was formed in August 2009. 

Since August 2009, the Iwi Leaders Group has dedicated itself to two streams of work;

  • Engaging with the Attorney General and other Senior Ministers on the nature of the replacement framework to the 2004 Act; and
  • Endeavouring to distribute information to Iwi and hapū.
